Fly-In 2016 — July 2 & 3

Op 2 en 3 juli 2016 organiseert de Koninklijke Aeroclub Limburgse Vleugels de jaarlijkse Open-Deur/Fly In te Genk-Zwartberg (EBZW).

De opbrengsten van deze activiteit gaan naar het Kinderkankerfonds Kleine Prins dat zieke kinderen begeleidt. Het is de bedoeling kind-patiëntjes een vlucht aan te bieden. Hiervoor wordt de medewerking gevraagd van bezoekende piloten om (in hun vliegtuig) een kind een onvergetelijke vliegervaring te geven.

Piloten die willen meewerken aan dit prachtige initiatief kunnen voor inschrijving contact opnemen met Valérie Coninx ( of Benoit Morren ( Er wordt zowel op zaterdag 2 juli als op zondag 3 juli 2016 met de kinderen gevlogen.

L’ Aéroclub Royal de Genk-Zwartberg (EBZW) organisera le weekend du 2 et 3 Juillet prochain des journées Portes-Ouvertes et Fly-In au profit de la fondation pour le Cancer des Enfants Petit Prince.

Dans le but d’offrir un moment inoubliable à ces jeunes malades, les pilotes-visiteurs du Fly-In sont cordialement invités à offrir un vol sight-seeing local à un de ces enfants.

Les pilotes interessés de participer à cette initiative, sont priés de prendre contact avec met Valérie Coninx ( ou Benoit Morren ( Les vols auront lieu le samedi 2 et dimanche 3 Juillet 2016.

The Royal Aeroclub of Genk-Zwartberg (EBZW-BELGIUM) is organizing the yearly Open House/Fly In on July 2 & 3, 2016 for the benefit of the Children Cancer Foundation Kleine Prins.

We are looking forward to offer these children a local sight-seeing flight on board of a participating aircraft. Visitor-pilots at the Fly-In are kindly requested to offer a seat for an unforgettable aviation experience.

Aeroclub Limburgse Vleugels

The "Limburgse Vleugels" aeroclub celebrated it's 50th aniversary in 2007 and since carries the titel Royal aeroclub Limburgse Vleugels. If you want to become a pilot of glider planes, motorised planes or model planes this is where you can make it happen.

This website deals with the section of the motorised planes, the glider section and the model section have their own website which you can access via the links on the right side.



We offer a fleet of 6 aircraft, including one glass cockpit C172SP with state of the art modern cockpit and one fast complex aircraft Mooney 205. They are both IFR and autopilot equipped and can be used for IFR training as part of a modular training.

For private pilot training we have 2 Cessna 152 trainers or for those who prefer bigger aeroplanes whe have 2 Cessna 172's available.



The airfield of Genk/Zwartberg was founded in 1957. 

The main goal of the aero club Limburgse Vleugels is to promote aviation in all it's forms. From Model Flying to gliding, parachutism and motorised flying. 

The chairman of the aero club is Mr. M. Notelaers.


The Clubhouse offers a bar and restaurant run by Josy and An. Bar and restaurant are open every day except Tuesday during the period of daylight saving time. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday the whole year round.
